Low Level Laser Therapy is one of the most popular and effective therapy in the aesthetic and medical field. Lasers can be divided in two categories:

1. Power lasers: these kind of lasers can reach high output energy (more than 100mW) and heat the target molecules in order to selectively distroy them. Power lasers are mainly used for hair removal, vascular lesions, photorejuvenation, tattoo removal and other skin deseases.

2. Soft lasers: these kind of lasers cannot reach high output energy (less than 100mW) and the energy delivered cause photochemical reactions in the target molecules/cells.

Slimlight 6.9 uses two combined soft laser sources:

1. Helium-Neon emitting at 635nm, able to penetrate tissues 8-10mm deep, suitable for more superficial treatments.

2. Diode laser emitting at 904 nm able to penetrate tissue 30-40mm deep, increasing the efficiency of the vacuum massage and stimulating the biochemical reactions that ease the fat metabolism.

Slimlight 6.9 emits three colours, red, blue and green, with different wavelenghts and therefore different functions:

RED
Red is the colour of life; it is the colour with the deepest penetration into the tissues and is stimulating for the blood circulation. Red is also an activator for the cell metabolism and a revitalizator for fatigued skin.

BLUE
Blue is associated with calm and relax. Is very effective in treating desases caused by heat, it is analgesic, decongestioning, antiseptic and very effective for treating acne. Blue is also indicated for allergies, migraine and sleep disorder.

GREEN
Green is the colour of nature, suitable to reinforce the immune system, for the hormonal balance and the treatment of general skin problems. Very effective against fine lines, wrinkles and fresh wound and scares.

Vacuum massage in Slimlight is performed through a vacuum system, ideal when combined with a soft lasers to deeply decongestion tissues, reduce the interstitial liquid (draining) and for breaking the hard fibres of cellulites.
Vacuum Massage is effective at different levels:

1. At the dermic level, it improves extra-cellular interstitial fluidity taking to a faster and easier elimination of the residual metabolites.

2. At the vascular level, it stimulates the drainage of both the vascular and lymphatic systems.

3. At the tissue level, it helps in breaking the hard fibres of the cellulite mass, giving a more elastic effect to the skin.
