Dermaplus is an innovative aesthetic equipment by sharp & botanica italy, combining 3 different technologies to get the best result in delivering products through the epidermis in the fastest and most reliable way to make treatments as comfortable and effective as ever.

Until now the only medical solution was the mesotherapy: doctors are delivering drugs and cosmetic in depth directly with a needle injection; dermaplus application is able to create space between cells, and also to open the cells membrane, to have the same deep penetration as with the needle.

Dermaplus is based upon the principle of electroporation which is the creation, through a selected and specific current, of intercellular channels in order to make our skin and tissues absorb products and cosmetics. The system temporary increases the permeability of the stratum corneum and of the sublayers of the skin.

In fact, one of the problems occurring in delivering products is the so called stratum corneum; this is the most external hard and impermeable layer of skin that our body uses as a barrier to protect itself from the environment. The stratum corneum is very difficult to be penetrated so that only 10% of products can be delivered to the lower layers.

Furthermore, we do not only create new intercellular paths, but we also increase the permeability of the cells to the product so that a higher amount can be absorbed; so the final result is the increase of both the intercellular and the intracellular delivery.

The second step (and technology) is based upon the principle of electrorepulsion. Juts think about two magnets: when we match their positive poles the effect will be repulsive. We use the same, simple concept by using a particular handpiece that has a positive charge and is filled with a positively ionized product. The specific design allows to have a controlled release of the product through the rolling system so to have an ideal and uniform penetration of the product. The final effect is that of “pushing”the products into the channels that the first handpiece has already created by both electrorepulsion and the “mechanical” movement of the handpiece:

the final result will be absolutely amazing!

At last, sharp&botanica team engineered a cooling handpiece, based upon the “peltier cells” technology, that will close the new “electro-pores” and keep the products into the skin in order to fully exploit the active principle of the product introduced.

It has been proven that the transdermal delivery is 99% at a depht of 0,8 to 1,3 cm and is still 60% at a depth of around 6 cm, so much more effective than any existing method, even iontophoresis!

Dermaplus system works under windows system and is provided with a very intuitive and effective touch-screen making every treatment friendly-user for any operator.
